Rain is falling, softly building until it fills the senses, drumming and pushing against the ribs and my soft, open heart. Reminding me of monsoon, the rain carries me silently to India, a place I once thought I had left. Yet, here I am again, adoring the purple-blue clouds which fill the sky, like an upside-down ocean.
What an amazing life this is, that I am here and here. Beloved, you were right when you told me, "I Am everywhere always."
I see it now. You grappled away the idea of me and mine and what is left, is vast, empty silence and a heart overflowing with rain and a wide, limitless ocean.
There is no constraint, no contraction, other than what is created in the mind. When you leave the prison of the mind you are free.
You are already free. Don’t get caught in the net of your thoughts. Find the space between one thought subsiding and another arising. That silent, infinite space is who you really are.
When we wake up, we make unconscious patterns conscious. This is freedom. This is being free of the wheel of Karma.
For one sweet moment, just let go,
Of the million thoughts dancing around,
In your mind. Though enticing, they will wear you out.
In truth you are not the captain of any ship,
Deciding where to go.
Instead, you are the vast ocean of limitless Consciousness.
And really there is no need to try and control,
The stunning beauty and mystical nature,
Of who you really are.
